In a standard ESP dashboard, a bounced email is a number in an aggregate metric. Not all bounces are equal.
A bounce from a disposable address is a list-hygiene issue. A bounce from ceo@bigclient.com is a revenue risk.
The problem with aggregate dashboards
If you send 10,000 emails a month with a 2% bounce rate, the ESP shows 200 bounces. It will not highlight that one of them was a proposal to a decision-maker. By the time sales notices the mail never arrived, the client may already have moved on.

How it works
When InboxMon ingests webhook events from SendGrid, Postmark, or Amazon SES, it matches every bounce, drop, or spam complaint against your VIP list as the event is stored.
A match opens a critical alert immediately (24-hour cooldown per recipient and type):
- Slack (your RevOps or sales channel, if a webhook is set)
- SMS (when Twilio is configured, for time-sensitive failures)
The alert names the recipient and what happened so the team can pause outreach, fix deliverability, and use another channel before the deal goes cold.
